You can turn any document that you can print into a PDF really easily on a Mac.
Select "Print" as if you would if you were going to print the document. In the bottom left corner of the print dialog box that appears you'll see a button named "PDF" (see below).
In the drop down menu, select the topmost option "Save as PDF" and you'll be prompted for a location to save your PDF file.
