Welcome to the Bacon's College Debating Society Wiki!
^ Shakespeare's birthplace, Stratford-Upon-Avon, visited by the Great
Shakespeare Debate Team.
Yes, the rumours are true! The Bacon’s College Debating Society is back with a vengeance, having been prised from the fingers of Mr Porte to be Sixth Form run and now scheduled for its come back in autumn ’10, after a dry run in the spring!
So what promoted this epiphany? Well, it was down to Ms Yeung, our teacher liaison, who ‘encouraged’ her English Literature class to take part in ‘The Great Shakespeare Debate’ in Stratford-Upon-Avon. This experience was both exhilarating and mildly terrifying, but gave her the opportunity to restart this Bacon’s tradition. So stay tuned for the next motion after the summer!
